"Taste of Calm" An exhibition of artist Guli Gromova has opened in Tashkent

Gulya Gromova has been living and working in neighboring Almaty for more than 15 years, but the foundations of her creative style were laid in the Uzbek forge of painting talents - the art school named after P.P. Benkov and the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute.

The main characters of the paintings are characters who are in sharp color contrast with the background surrounding them. Be it a dervish, a vizier, a stately lady - in each image the artist skillfully combines its lyricism and visual brightness. As, for example, in the first work made for the exhibition, “Girl with a Dove,” inspired by memories from childhood.
